About me

Currently I am a Research Assistant at the CSC Institute - CONICET.

I have studied computer science at the Departament of Computer Science. Universidad de Buenos Aires.
I got my Master's in June 2009 and my PhD in April 2018. I was awarded the CONICET scholarship for post-graduate studies, which funded most of my PhD work.

My PhD topic focused on concurrent programming patterns, specifically on the formal specification of a novel concurrent pattern including a proof-of-concept C++ implementation of a concurrent code generation tool based on an input concurrent specification.

Besides my research pursuits, I gained valuable industry experience in past Software Engineering positions in embedded devices and in past and current work as a Computer Science consultant for the optical industry. I am also a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Universidad de Buenos Aires since 2009 in Computer Science courses given by the Department of Computer Science for 2nd and 3rd year students.

Apart from my professional activities, I am an amateur travel, nature and family photographer with a specific interest in colorful sunsets. With the COVID-19 pandemic I also started learning chess online in Lichess.org with a serious interest in reaching a high proficiency level.
